As a neighboring institution just across the river from Philadelphia, our Department of Visual, Media, and Performing Arts at Rutgers University–Camden is ready to support University of the Arts students to transfer to our programs to successfully complete their undergraduate studies. We are committed to working with students on their credit transfer to ensure their on-time graduation and as a state university we provide competitive financial aid and scholarship options.

To further assist with a smooth transfer for University of the Arts students, our Office of Admissions is waiving application fees for the UArts students. To receive the fee waiver code please contact us using the email provided below. We are accepting applications from all current and incoming University of the Arts students.

Many of our concentrations align with the University of the Arts and we offer BA and BFA degrees in Visual Arts.

To apply, please visit the admissions page and list Camden College of Arts and Sciences as the designated academic unit on your Rutgers application.

In addition to these programs, we have partnered with the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences to offer a 5-year BA/MAT program in Arts Education for students interested in pursuing teaching careers. Our curriculum provides flexibility in the selection of courses to target the specific needs of the students as they discover their creative path.

We also welcome International Students and provide administrative support for their stay during their studies. Follow the link for more information about our programs and offered support for applicants outside of the United States.
