We are currently accepting Portfolio Reviews on a rolling basis for the Visual Arts BFA Program beginning in Fall 2023. A portfolio review is required for all BFA applications and optional (suggested) for our BA applicants. Submit your SlideRoom portfolio after the Rutgers University application submission.

We are also accepting requests for virtual meetings with our faculty and staff for prospective students interested in one of our academic programs. In your request email, please let us know your name, whether you are a first-year or a transfer student, and your anticipated concentration.
Preparing for a portfolio review:
- Portfolios should include 10-15 of your strongest original works (open to any medium). Choose the works that represent your intellectual process, your skills, and your openness to experimentation
- Include works from sketchbook if you have one
- Include a personal statement (Maximum 350 words)
- Transfer students should include works from their college-level art classes
