Art Portfolio Review

We are currently accepting Portfolio Reviews on a rolling basis for the Visual Arts BFA Program. A portfolio review is required for all BFA applicants and optional (suggested) for our BA applicants. After applying to the Camden College of Arts and Sciences within Rutgers University–Camden, please complete your Portfolio Review using the Slideroom link below.

We are also accepting requests for virtual meetings with our faculty and staff for prospective students interested in one of our academic programs. Please contact us at talentassessment@camden.rutgers.edu to request an info session. In your request email, please let us know your name, whether you are a first-year or a transfer student, and your anticipated concentration.

 

PREPARING FOR A PORTFOLIO REVIEW:

  • Portfolios should include 10-15 of your strongest original works (open to any medium) Choose the works that represent your intellectual process, your skills, and your openness to experimentation
  • Include works from sketchbook if applicable
  • Include a personal statement (Maximum 350 words) 
  • Transfer students should include works from their college-level art classes
