BIOGRAPHY
In 2005, Warner graduated with a master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Delaware with a specialization in fine arts photography. In that same year, she went on to teach as an adjunct professor of photography and art appreciation at Salem Community College, and soon following at Rowan University. In the summer of 2013, Warner graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Creative Arts in Therapy from Drexel’s College of Nursing and Health Professions at Hanneman Hospital in Philadelphia. Following this second master’s, she went on to work at various mental health-focused institutions and nonprofit organizations, as well as to support Drexel’s graduate Art therapy students with their Clinical Supervision needs. In 2019, Warner secured the highest level of credentialing for art therapists in New Jersey at the time, and subsequently opened my private practice, Gentle Truth Therapy LLC, where she still practices today. In 2023, she went on to secure the newly developed license of professional Art therapy (LPAT) from the state of New Jersey, where Sherry continues to practice Art therapy with teens and adults. Warner is also a part-time professor of art therapy at Saint Joseph’s University in Pennsylvania. She is a credentialed Art therapy supervisor and works part-time for Twist Out Cancer, based out of Philadelphia, running art therapeutic groups throughout the year.
