GRAPHIC DESIGN

The Graphic Design curriculum at Rutgers University–Camden is geared towards developing students that want to pursue graphic design as a profession or as an advanced degree. The program consists of courses that foster professional skills through technical and conceptual proficiency. The program stresses the formation of an individual process through the exploration of a multi- and cross-disciplinary design practice through each student’s individual voice and interest.

Many of our graduates have established successful careers in print design, advertising, interactive and web design and product design working in traditional graphic design studio to cutting edge design think tanks. Our graphic design alumni have worked for many local, national and international companies including IBM, UNIQLO Japan, BMW, City of Philadelphia, 160 over 90, NFL Films, NBC Sports and a countless educational, architectural and non-profit organizations across the country.

In addition, our student works have been awarded and recognized by national and international organizations including AIGA, Graphis, GDUSA, UCDA, CMYK and Applied Art Magazines.
