Happy Feature Friday! Caden Amiri Adams is a junior English major from Washington D.C. He has been the Production Stage Manager for shows at Rutgers–Camden such as Urinetown, Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show, and this semester`s The Seagull! A fun fact about Caden is that he is part of a band! His band has held a few concerts, both in collaboration with other bands and on its own. They have performed in a few different places, including some local frat houses and the Camden Wellness Center! After graduation, Caden dreams of being a TV producer. Another Friday has arrived, which means it’s time for another Feature! This week, we have the honor of putting the spotlight on Alana–Rivera Mills! Alana is a Musical Theater major with a minor in Communications, and she is set to graduate in 2027! She chose her major because while she loves singing and acting, she wanted to experience all sides of theater production, including the technical aspects as well as the screenwriting processes. She has been in various productions here at Rutgers–Camden, but her two favorites were Rent as a freshman and Urinetown when she was a sophomore. While these productions pushed her and her skills to higher levels, she also gives credit to Prof. Soyeon Bin for pushing her to be the best that she can be. Alana has accomplished a great deal on campus, but one of her proudest achievements is serving as secretary of a student-run theater collective group. We can`t wait to see where her career takes her after graduation!
