The arts programs at Rutgers–Camden offer a flexible range of opportunities for students to explore an education in visual arts, art history/museum studies, and performing arts in music and theater. These programs teach technical, academic, creative, and communication skills as part of our curriculum in Animation, Graphic Design, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Art History, Music, Theater, and Filmmaking majors and concentrations.

Since forming in 2003, the quartet has performed at Smyrna Opera House, Allentown Symphony Hall, the Cosmos Club in Washington DC, and many more! The Pre-College Arts Program returns next month! 🎥👾🎶🎨
Do you know a high school student who wants to study art in college? This is the perfect way for them to get a head start on their education! Students will be taught at a university level in their chosen course: Animation, Portfolio Prep, Music Technology & Production, or Filmmaking! This 8-week program will run on Saturday mornings from March 1st to April 26th.

The cast of Rutgers students is led by Nallely Pineda Turcios of Brooklyn, NY as the “Young Woman.” The large ensemble is rounded out by Emmalee Accetta of West Windsor, Caden Adams of Washington, D.C., Aubree House of Philadelphia, Morgan Meloy of East Greenwich, Charlies Baliban of Haddon Township, Alana Rivera-Mills of Raleigh, NC, Damien Rodriguez of Milmay, Rithika Mothukri of Hyderabad, Telangana, India, Ethan Santi of Brooklawn, Michael Cramer of Delran, and Christina Segarra of Manalapan, all playing multiple roles.

The Spring 2025 Visiting Artists lecture series is here! This semester’s theme revolves around the idea of “Video and Digital Art.” Join us as we welcome David Hartt during free period TODAY! Hartt’s work explores how historical ideas and ideals persist or transform over time. Current and upcoming exhibitions include After the End of the World: Pictures from Panafrica at The Art Institute of Chicago and Les gratte-ciels par la racine at the Museé de L’Art Contemporain, Montréal.
