Catherine, the young daughter of a well-known mathematician has just laid her father, Robert, to rest after he struggled with mental illness. Now, in the throes of her grief, a former graduate student has come to study her father’s work when he discovers a paradigm-shifting proof in Robert’s office. Now, Catherine must prove the proof’s authorship while grappling with her fear of following in her father’s footsteps, both mathematically and mentally.  The winner of the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play; Proof tells a heart-wrenching personal tale of Catherine’s love, loss, and uncertain future.
